I had mentioned before, that I was going to try out the Cleanse Patch which is a detox foot patch. I have never tried a foot patch before but I have read about them and have heard nothing but good things. These patches can be pretty expensive so you want to know that the one you are getting works. Well I tried it out and it was the weirdest experience I have ever had. I followed the directions and put the patches on my feet right before bed. In the middle of the night I woke up, like I had to pee, but felt my stomach cramping like I was about to start my period. I also had a weird headache. I went to the bathroom but there was no visit from aunt mary so I went back to sleep. In the morning I removed the foot patches which smelled like BBQ sauce. It was really gross but neat to see all the crap that the pads pulled out of my body.
I told my husband about me cramping and having a headache in the middle of the night and he told me that the foot patches are supposed to pull stuff from your guts hence while I was cramping. The next night I did the detox again and this time one of the pads was a dark brown color and the other one was a lighter tan color. I suppose I am getting a lot of the yucky stuff out of my system already. You are supposed to continue doing the detox until they are completely clean in the morning. I don’t know how long that takes.
One weird thing is that every time I smell BBQ sauce now, I think about detoxing foot pads. LOL. Although, I physically do not feel any different, I do believe these patches work because of the awful smell and brown goop that is on the pads in the morning. And if cramping isn’t evidence enough of it pulling the gross toxins from your gut, then I don’t know what else is. I suppose that is why they tell you to apply the foot pads before going to bed so if you do cramp you are less likely to notice it. I just so happened had to pee when I felt the effects of the foot patch.
We Know Diets is another website that I have recently found that offers up product reviews of all the latest weighloss products. Anyone that is on a diet knows just how much diet pills cost and finding the right one that will do the job can be a bit of a challenge. There is no point in wasting your money on a product that won’t work so reading reviews on the product you want to try is a very good idea. With so much money being at stake when investing in a good weightloss product, you definitely want a second, third, or even fourth opinion on the product you are thinking of buying.
There is a website called Beautiful Review that reviews all of the latest skin care products on the market today. If you are in the mood to purchase a new skin care line, I would suggest checking out this website first (that is if I have not already written a review on it
). I love beauty review websites because with beauty products you never know if they will work or live up to the name they have established for themselves. I am always seeking the advice of the internet through review blogs to see whether or not I should invest in anything especially makeup products. If it works for someone else there is a higher probability that it will work for me.
I am not one to like energy drinks so much. I personally hate the taste of practically all energy drinks that are on the market and trust me I have tried just about every single one. So, when Cranenergy hit the market, I knew I wanted to try it out to see if it any different from the others on the market. The goodness of a fruit drink plus the effectiveness of an energy drink. It can’t be all that bad can it?
Upon tasting the Cranenergy you can immediately taste the cranberry juice. It is so refreshing to taste something other than your typical energy drink. I couldn’t tell a difference after drinking it but I have a tolerance for caffeine.
Overall I would say that if you are in the market for an energy drink that doesn’t taste like your typical energy drink, I would go with Cranenergy for sure. It is tolerable without being too over whelming with that weird energy drink taste. You can definitely taste the fruit juice but it isn’t like downing just a glass of regular juice.
Were You Raised by Wolves?: Clues to the Mysteries of Adulthood is a book that every young adult she have. I believe there is a problem in our society today where we as parents are way too busy to spend time with our children. As a result our children are growing up not knowing any basic manner skills like how to RSVP, clean a bathroom, or even be a good party guest. Everything is so fast paced that most young people don’t know how to even sit still during a quiet meeting or an elegant dinner. To help a parent or a young adult that doesn’t know how to master the skill of adult hood this book was created to give you the heads up on what is expected of you.

Here is a slideshow of some of the photos I have taken of the Tornado Damage that struck my new home on Mother’s Day….
Please keep us all in your prayers. Also, check out my husband’s point of view on the whole tornado thing as well to see more photos of the destruction!
Yes, you read that right. For Mother’s Day all I got was a TORNADO to destroy my future home of residence. My new home, well would have been in a month, was hit by three F2 tornadoes. Just about every single tree is down in the area. Most of the trees took down the power lines, others landed on houses or cars. Only one person has been reported dead so that is a good thing. There is no power and it looks as if there won’t be any power for a week or two. My parents home had so many trees fall down or uproot that you couldn’t even see the grass.
The damage from the tornadoes are unreal. It looks like a photo from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. I swear to you, I can not even exaggerate it is that bad. The house that we are supposed to be moving into also took a good bit of damage. There was a deck on the back of the house that is just gone. I huge tree fell on it and in the process ripped a hole in the roof as well as take the whole part of the roof in the back off! I guess this will be delaying our moving plans. We just had the house retiled and new carpets put in.
So I just wanted to give you guys a little bit of a heads up just in case I am unable to post for the rest of the week. I am cleaning up storm damage and will probably be without power for a week. Just about every single power line has been taken down by a tree.
Since we have no power nor internet access, I am on the northside of town at a coffee shop, I have been taking lots of photos of the damage and chaos all over town. I will have them uploaded on flickr whenever I get back home which will be after I clean up our new home in hopes of making it able to be moved into by the end of the month.
Please keep us in your prayers!!!

So some of you may be wondering…Where did she go? Why hasn’t she updated? What is going on? Well the fact of the matter is that I have been dying to update but I have been too gosh darn busy too. You see I spoke before about moving and about how we needed to have a yard sale. Well, I got as much stuff together as I could and just went for it this weekend.
I think we did pretty good, we even sold our COUCH! Yes, seriously. We have no where to sit right now but that is Ok because that just means that I get to buy a new couch when I move. I am so excited, I am leaning toward either brown leather or red!!!
So all proceeds that we made at the yard sale will go towards adding new touches to our new home.
I will back on my regularly scheduled postings on Monday. Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, don’t forget to hug your Mama. I am taking a break from everything and laying in the fat wad of dough I made at my first ever yard sale with dreams of new furniture dancing in my head.
Congratulations, Linda on winning the Win $114 worth of Skincare Products contest.
