From the request of Drea here are some more photos of my home. Today we will explore the living room.

Starting at the front door

Then to the left [if you are looking at the door] we have the hallway then the entertainment center. We just bought this entertainment center from Wal-mart it is part of their customizable “Get it Together” line of furniture. You mix and match pieces to your liking and space. We chose 2 bookshelves and the tv stand. We wanted the connecting piece that goes between the two bookshelves to tie it all together but they didn’t have it in the store.

From the left of the entertainment center in the corner of the room is my desk area. It is a little junky lookin, so pardon the mess. You can tell I was “working” when I took this photo.

To the left of my desk is the fireplace. My mother painted that screen/fireplace cover for me before I left “home”. We originally found the screen at a yard sale. It has a basket of fruit on the backside. The lady said she paid $500 for it and never used it. We bought it from her for $50. Talk about a deal. My mother offered to paint something oriental on the backside because the other picture doesn’t match my “little asia” decor. She did a wonderful job. Shouts out to MeMe!

To the left of the fireplace is the backdoor to go out into our HUGE backyard [photos of that is yet to come; it is raining today]. Here is a view of the living room in its entirety if you were standing by the backdoor looking in.

Last but not least in the center of the room we have my sofa and the infamous black rug. We’ll you’ll see just a corner of the black rug and half a head of the bean. Behind the sofa is the kitchen of which has already been posted about HERE. You’ll have to wait to see a photo of the black rug until I get the vaccuum back. And I try to take a photo of the front window but my flash won’t go off because of the sunshine so you’ll have to wait till tonight for that one.

There you go, Drea, that is my living room. Any other places you would like to see? P-nuts re-done room? Guest/P-nuts bathroom? Or my room perhaps?? Those will posted at a later date for right now I am going to enjoy my day off.
