Princess and the Frog on DVD March 16th (Giveaway)

As soon as I saw trailers for the new Disney movie Princess and the Frog, I knew that it was a movie that I definitely wanted my family to see. Although I’m in a household of all boys, I still occasionally would like to see a fairytale versus super heroes.

I’m thankful for the advanced copy of the Princess and the Frog that Click Communications sent over for my family and I to see again. We originally saw this movie in the theaters but with my “mommy brain” had forgotten some of the good parts of the story.

What I liked the most about Princess and the Frog are the characters. A couple of the characters in the movie like Charlotte and Mama Odie have me giggling with laughter each time I watch them.

Princess and the Frog isn’t my favorite Disney movie of all time, because let’s face it there are plenty of great Disney films out there to compare this one too. But as far as Disney Princesses go….well, Princess Tiana ranks pretty high on that list.

    it is more of a nostalgia thing, but sleeping beauty is my favorite princess. I watched the cartoon with my moms mom as a child and it has stuck w/ me as my favorite. :)

    My favorite Disney Princess is Tiana. Granted she did not receive a lot of screen time as a person but rather as a frog it is still a huge step in the right direction. It has been a long time coming and for someone who considers themselves to be a Princess even as an adult I feel grateful to have someone that looks like me represented in such a positive way by Disney. I feel my daughter who I will treat as a Princess as well can grow up knowing at LEAST one black Princess and i will give her all of the cute Princess things with Tiana on it and watch it with her. :)

    I would have to say that my favorite princess is Princess Aurora from Sleeping beauty. I watched sleeping beauty over and over as a child and even now and then with my kids.
