I’m not a good breakfast person (or a morning person in general for that matter). Most mornings it’s just me and my cup of joe. My children on the other hand LOVE breakfast time. Oatmeal, cereal, pancakes, you name it & they love it.

I was recently challenged by Quaker to add more breakfast into my daily routine. They presented me with an interesting statistic which said:

“90% of consumers believe that breakfast is important yet over half of Americans are still not eating breakfast on a regular basis. “

This quote could not be any more true for me especially. While I KNOW breakfast is good for me, I still usually don’t bother to eat in the mornings then wonder why I’m often starving by lunchtime. Silly me, I know.

But there is help, and a little bit of hope for me. Quaker has a branded page on Walmart.com that helps one decide what breakfast to serve based off of what activities one will participate in during the day. The Right Breakfast for your Week pairs specific Quaker breakfast ideas with everyday activities like a big presentation or just a busy day that can be customized to what your family might be tackling this week. The Breakfast Building Tool is a good place to start for finding breakfast ideas for the family.

While breakfast might not be a habitual part of my everyday routine just yet, I have two little kidlets encouraging me everyday to eat more breakfast.

How do you do at Breakfast Time?
