Ahhh summer time.  The time of year to relax a bit and catch a must-see movie or two.  Just the word summer alone puts me in the mood to just slow down.

Some of you may already know that I’m a movie junkie.  I love watching all sorts of films and we regularly have family movie nights at my house.  To me there is no better way to unwind from a stressful day or week than with a good movie whether it be at the theater or from the comfort of our own home (we are big Netflix fans).

I’ve been catching the Monte Carlo trailer on tv several times in the last couple of days.  It definitely looks like one of those movies that I definitely would want to see.  It sort of reminds me a bit of the Princess Diaries. This film however doesn’t look like something my husband would enjoy too much so perhaps I will see it with my Mom or best friend instead.  Girls night anyone?

Monte Carlo hits theaters tomorrow (Friday, July 1st, 2011).  And if you are looking to get tickets ahead of time, make sure to check out Fandango.  As well as follow Monte Carlo on Facebook for some behind the scenes info on the movie.

I want to see that too but I almost feel too old to see it in theatres and may just wait for the DVD :)

ha ha….I kinda feel the same way too but if I were going with a group of girlfriends I think it would be a bit different. If I'm unable to make it to the theaters to see it, I'm definitely going to add it to my Netflix list for when it comes out on DVD.
