I was recently sent a Holiday Voxbox filled with a sampling of goodies from the fabulous folks over at Influenster. Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a bit obsessed with trying out new beauty products so I was excited to see a couple of new beauty product samples in my Holiday Voxbox.
I actually had one of the products in my Voxbox already, I was given a Goody Quickstyle Brush from another company not too long back. I began using it as my go-to brush that I use after I take a shower to brush the tangles out of my hair before I style it. Since my hair is curly and loves to hold onto moisture I can’t noticeably tell if this brush takes away any of the excess moisture. Regardless, for me, it is still a good post-shower brush that I enjoy using. I now have one of these brushes upstairs to use after my shower and another downstairs on my vanity.
Another beauty product in my Voxbox that I tried out was the Kiss Nail Dress. Some of my long time readers will know that I’ve already tried this product in the past. What I love about Kiss Nail Dress is how easy it is to use. With patterned nails being a HUGE trend right now, Kiss Nail Dress is a quick and easy way to rock this trendy look. The pattern they sent isn’t a pattern that I would normally gravitate towards if I were to pick out a nail design myself. Nevertheless, I tried the Kiss Nail Dress in Babydoll for both my manicure and pedicure and they came out beautifully.
The last beauty product in my Voxbox was New York Color Liquid Color Lipshine. You all know I’m a lipgloss girl, so I was excited to see this included in my box. The thing with lipgloss is that they aren’t very fun to wear when they are sticky. Luckily, this lipgloss is not sticky to me at all. It glides on smooth and gives a beautiful glass-like finish to the lips. While the color they sent isn’t something I would normally pick up for myself, Nude New York, I will definitely be looking for these the next time I decide to pick up some inexpensive makeup to switch up my look. Prospect Pink and City Clear are calling my name right now. I think they would make great additions to my makeup collection.
While I was naturally drawn to the beauty samples in my Voxbox, they also threw in some other samples to try out like Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal and Eboost. Sole Society not only shared a gift with me but also for you as well. With the code: INFLUENSTER25 one can get $25 off of their first purchase (code is only good until January 31st, 2013). After browsing Sole Society, I found many cute styles and a couple pairs of shoes that I would love to rock.
Disclosure: As a member of Influenster, occasionally I am sent products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster. I was sent a box of samples as a part of their Holiday Voxbox campaign. As always, opinions are my own.
