The Domestic Diva is a food blog for home cooks featuring tried and true southern recipes to help you meal plan delicious homemade meals for your family.

We don’t use fancy ingredients here. Most recipes use real, simple ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry.

I hope you enjoy these homemade recipes from my southern kitchen as much as my family does.

The History of this Blog

I began blogging back in 2004 as a way to document my first pregnancy. Later in 2005, the Domestic Diva, the domain thedomesticdiva.org was officially created (a Christmas gift from my husband).

On The Domestic Diva you’ll find tried and true southern recipes to help you meal plan delicious home-cooked meals for your family.

The Domestic Diva has featured a variety of different topics over the years but one thing has remained the same, my love for sharing simple, delicious southern recipes.

Heather The Domestic Diva

My name is Heather. I’ve been been sharing my story online as a blogger for almost 20 years and in that time I’ve had the opportunity to work with brands both big and small.

Some of my most recognized work as a blogger has been my part as one of the original members of Walmart Moms, the Eat-in Friday Velveeta It! Kitchenista, Sharpie Squad Ambassador, and many more.

Throughout the week I work on my blog bringing fresh new content to you, the reader, and homeschooling my two high school boys. My oldest will graduate this year!

On the weekends you can find me cooking up a new recipe, hiking the nature trails in my hometown, or cleaning the house, which is my least favorite thing to do.
